In the lush tropical surroundings of Playa Bávaro and within the Barceló Bávaro Palace Deluxe*****, we find the Barceló Bávaro Convention Centre, the biggest and most modern convention centre in the Dominican Republic.

Inaugurated in October of 2001, we have had the experience of countless national and international events both from the government and the private sector. We guarantee a successful event. We have an excellent professional team specialised in the managing of high level events who will personally assist you. Barceló Bávaro Convention Centre has more than 11,500 m2 among 13 events rooms of different characteristics that can be subdivided into a total of 24 smaller rooms. We are able to hold up to 5,000 people, and offer the latest in technological advances in computers and audiovisual equipment in addition to an ample range of services.

Inside the Barceló Bávaro Convention Centre, we have various options to celebrate a Gala dinner depending on the number of people and the type of programme. For groups smaller than 100 people we offer the Bar Higuey, a semi-open area decorated for the occasion. For groups larger than 180 people we can offer dinners in various of the different events rooms of the Convention Centre. And for groups up to 1200 people we have our large Gran Salón Bávaro. In addition we have our foyer or our splendid heliport that can be outfitted for the occasion to hold theme parties.
